discuit

I’ve been thinking of having my own personal bit of the internet for a few years now, I have had loads and loads of different sites over the years, many forums, some that are still going, some that are dead,a  few blogs, mainly about football or music, but they all had half an eye on making money. This site does not. Its somewhere i can put stuff I fancy rambling about, and of course it is no way the views of the company i am working for.

One of the first jobs is trying to locate all my old DJ mixes from over the years and get them put up here, on discobiscuit. Why Discobiscuit you may ask. Well its actually nothing to do with “discobiscuits” despite what conclusions you are jumping to, (I’m 33 years old for gods sake) When I first started Djing back in 1996, I discovered a  big gay house tune by some Leeds Trannies called T.W.A. and it was called discobiscuit. I liked the name, I bought the domain. It then became my little Djing Home on the internet. Off it sprawled a very successful forum which had 100’s of active users.  I used Discobiscuit as my username on countless forums before i realised people thought it was a drug reference (which it wasn’t) I have sinced dropped a few of the letters out and am now known as discuit on the interwebs.
