Tune of the Day

I have no idea why this song popped into my head this morning, but it did, and took me on an epic voyage of the internets trying to find an mp3 of it. I have the vinyl somewhere, I think its in the Garage at my dads house, along with another 10,000 vinyls that will probably never be played again and if sold on the open market would fetch about 12p, going by the current vinyl prices.

I picked it up from Vinyl exchange in Manchester in the late 90’s, I used to love that place, it was an Aladins cave for DJ’s, you never knew what was going to be there, what someone else might have considered shite, was a classic to you, and vice versa. Bring your shite promos in, and my god did i get sent a lot of shite promos. Take em to the desk, and buy some classics.

Originally on Cowboy records, I first heard this tune in a club in Stafford called Swoon, the resident DJ was some bird called Angel (who incidently released a massive tune a few years later called Come back to me) It might be the cheesiest record in the history of cheddar, its one of those time and a place tunes. And I was there at a good time, in a good place.

Enjoy.
