So the midweek gamble has already come off its rails, Athletico Madrid were 1/6 to win that game, the stupid Spaniards. I should know better than to bet on a team that includes ex Manc Diego Forlan. Although we have Little Louis Garcia over there, and former red Pongolle with a distinct lack of mad hair these days. But still, it wasn’t enough and Athletico and Juventus ruined my bet.

I’ll see how I feel this afternoon, but the gambling account is getting low now. And my challenge of earning 500 quid off 14 quid is looking a bit of a joke after my early season confidence.
